Gleason's Gielinor Guide

Mystic robes are magic robes that are obtained either by:

Killing various monsters, usually Slayer monsters.
Purchasing from the Wizards' Guild store (blue mystic robes).
Catching Dragon implings.
Opening the Brimstone chest (dusk mystic robes).
Buying from another player.

Slayer monsters that originate from the Slayer Tower drop dark mystic pieces, while slayer monsters that originate from Fremennik Slayer Dungeon drop light mystic pieces, with few exceptions.

All mystic robes require level 40 Magic and level 20 Defence to wear.

They can all be saved in the magic wardrobe of the Costume room of a Player-owned house.

Substitutions

The mystic gloves are generally inadvisable, as the combat bracelet gives both teleportation and far better defensive bonuses, while also giving the same magic attack bonus as the mystic gloves. The regen bracelet is another option: It has better stats than the combat bracelet, along with doubling healthpoint regeneration, but is far more expensive and lacks the combat bracelet's teleportation. Any pair of gloves at or above the Black Gloves from the Culinaromancer's Chest will match the offensive and defensive stats of the mystic gloves as well, with partial completion of Recipe for Disaster, though the other gloves as close as Iron gloves can be comparable.

Players with 45+ defence, who have completed The Fremennik Trials, are advised to use the farseer helm instead of the mystic hat. The farseer helm has far better defensive bonuses than the mystic hat, and a better magic attack bonus.

Enchanted robes

Enchanted robes are a set of magic armour. They are statistically identical to mystic robes but are aesthetically different and only consist of a hat, top, and bottom. To obtain enchanted robes the player can either complete a hard Treasure Trail or trade with another player.

Robes of darkness

Robes of darkness are a set of magic armour. They are statistically identical to mystic robes but are aesthetically different and consist of a hood, top, bottom, gloves, and boots. To obtain the Robes of Darkness the player can either complete a master Treasure Trail or trade with another player.
