Mithril doors can be found within the Ancient Cavern, with the entrance located on the 1st floor[UK]2nd floor[US] of the Ancient Cavern near the mithril dragons. The doors act as the passageway to the dragon forge's heat source. Initially the entrance is locked, but can be unlocked with an ancient key obtained during Dragon Slayer II. During the quest, players must enter the room and relight the dragon heads to reactivate the forge.
