Leprechaun

Leprechauns are a race of small, humanoid creatures. They are quite similar to gnomes and are commonly encountered in farming, especially the tool leprechauns. They have an affinity with nature and live in wood- and farmlands among trees and flora.

They appear to have the same connections as Leprechauns do in mythology in real life; the Woodcutting Leprechaun appears in a patch of four-leaf clovers along with the Ends of Rainbows that grant the player "leprechaun's luck" when stepped in, and the tool leprechauns located Underwater near Fossil Island weighs itself down with a Pot of Gold.

The tool leprechauns hold the tools they store in a magic shed, which can be accessed by any other leprechaun.^[1]

• Woodcutting Leprechaun, who appears as part of the Woodcutting Leprechaun Forestry event
• Leprechaun Larry, the tool leprechaun who sells Farming supplies at the top of the Troll Stronghold
• Shamus, a leprechaun who helps the player finding Zanaris in the Lost City quest
• Gilbert, a leprechaun featured in Pride events

• A book titled On Leprechauns can be found in the Grand Library in Prifddinas, describing a possible sinister side to leprechauns.
• Leprechaun charms, crafted from clover insignias, could be used to attract woodcutting leprechauns when participating in Forestry, though they were later removed and are no longer required to encounter them.
• The Leprechaun's vault could be obtained during the Raging Echoes League, which allowed players to remotely access their seed vault.
• Leprechaun hats can be obtained from medium Treasure Trails, which have a buckle on them and appear smaller than the hats that leprechauns wear.
  • Black leprechaun hats can also be obtained in the same fashion, though no leprechauns can be seen wearing a black hat. It may be a reference to the Goth leprechaun who can be found in the Wilderness in RuneScape 3.
