Jessamine is an archaeologist working for the Grand Museum, who is investigating Neypotzli, a prison containing the Moons of Peril. Players help her set up campsites as part of the quest Perilous Moons.
As a child, Jessamine had a fascination for archaeology, having a friend who she'd collect old trinkets with, and was a frequent visitor to the Grand Museum. By the time she grew up and applied for employment at the Grand Museum, most of the staff already knew her well.
