Paul the Ironman tutor is found on Tutorial Island, and teaches new players about Ironman Mode. He can change the player's Ironman status freely before they leave Tutorial Island. Another Ironman tutor, Adam, is found in Lumbridge and can help players downgrade or lock their Ironman status once off Tutorial Island.
The player may also choose to create a Group Ironman with other players when selecting their Ironman status. Paul will then instruct the player to continue to the tutorial and visit The Node.
