The Gielinor Guide (formerly RuneScape Guide) is the first non-player character (NPC) that players meet in the game. He is found in his house on Tutorial Island. He gives a brief but informative chat about the game.
At this NPC, a player is required to choose their character's looks. These include:
- Body type
- Hair style / colour
- Body style / colour
- Legs style / colour
- Arms style
- Feet style / colour (brown or black)
