*This book appears to have been written to document Iriandul Caistlyn's travels and experiences in leading the Seven Priestly Warriors on their mission. Written somewhat as a slightly dramatised, novelistic diary, most of it seems to be of little relevance, but what bits you do read are of some interest at least.*
The battlefront was unrelenting. At one point, I wasn't sure I'd be seeing another day... that any of us would be. Some leader I'd be if I'd let us all fall, but the winding paths here don't make for much of a strategic position.
The day has been long, but I don't expect they'll be getting any shorter... We must take the time now to rest while we can. While the battle may be over for now, that is provided we're fortunate enough that they stay back, we will soon need to move forwards once more. We need to establish a proper foothold for our work to be successful. We can't just keep fighting forever.
As I reflect now, I realise I must thank Saradomin... If it hadn't been for Sarl and that trusty mace of his today, I doubt I'd be writing these words.Gallery
