Druid spirits are followers of Guthix found wandering throughout the Ancient Guthixian Temple. Players can release them from this world by using a druid pouch on them, after which they will leave behind one of eight potion ingredients required to be offered at one of the dolmen statues. Upon doing so, a game message will state The spirit of the druid grants you some items with a whisper of thanks. If you already have the corresponding item on the ground, the druid will not drop the item a second time. In addition, a game message will state You hear a whisper of thanks as the spirit of the druid fades away.
