The cell key 1 is a quest item used in the Troll Stronghold quest. It opens the cell where Godric is held. The key is held by Twig, a level 71 troll, who is sleeping while on guard in Troll Stronghold. It can be pickpocketed from him if player has level 30 Thieving, if not, players must fight him to get it.
Trying to reuse duplicates of the key after the quest will give the message, "You have no need to do this."
