The Call follower button is a feature that allows a player to call their follower with one click. The button is located in the Worn Equipment to the right of Items Kept on Death button. Calling a follower is non-interrupting, meaning the player will continue any current actions or dialogues regardless of clicking this button.
If a player uses this feature without a follower, they will receive a message stating You do not have a follower.
If a player uses this feature when their follower is nearby, they will receive a message stating Your follower is already close enough. To call successfully, a follower must either be 5 or more tiles away from the player or have any kind of unwalkable tile affecting their path (such as a fence or cliff). Followers can become stuck behind other players or NPCs, but these do not count as unwalkable tiles.
If the follower is an adult dog or the Bloodhound pet, this feature will also allow them to dig at your current tile for Treasure Trail steps.
