Brother Althric looks after the roses and cabbages in the Edgeville Monastery. During Garden of Tranquillity, he tells you to throw away your Ring of Charos into a well before you pick some rose seeds.
If the player is doing Fairytale I - Growing Pains while Garden of Tranquillity is in progress, Brother Althric can be questioned as one of the G.A.G. members on why they think crops are failing.
